MEMBERSHIP
Membership in the World Twirling Association is for those interested in furthering the art of baton twirling. Application for membership may be rejected or membership may be taken away by the director of the association. Any person or persons giving false
information or found guilty of any misrepresentation or misconduct will
be expelled from the association.
GROUP MEMBERSHIP Every group participating in events sponsored by the World Twirling Association is encouraged to purchase a group membership. The teacher or coach of a group should send in the group membership fee and request a team and/or corps membership card (identification number). This membership entitles a group to enter any team or corps event at any open contest at reduced members’ rates. This membership also provides a group the opportunity to enter title events, providing other qualifications are met. The group membership does not, however, entitle an individual member of a group to enter an individual event as a member. The individual member of a group who wishes to enter Individual Events as a member must purchase a Regular Individual Membership. It is imperative that if a group enters more than one group event under the same membership, the group must use the same base name in each event it enters. MEMBERSHIP FEES

Teacher’s Membership
A Registered Teacher is one who
is on the W.T.A. mailing list and encourages his/her students to participate
in W.T.A. contest.
$22.00 per year. . . . . Licensed
Teacher’s Membership
A Licensed Teacher is one who has
successfully passed a written and oral/practical examination.
$28.00 per year. . . . . Licensed
Teacher’s and Judge’s Membership
$24.00 per year. . . . . Corps-Team
